I purchased my first investment property at the age of 19.
After purchasing the property, I built a granny flat to improve rental yield. Construction delays hurt my cash flow more than I expected.
Luckily, with the guidance of a mortgage broker, I was able to get back on track financially. It was reassuring hearing from them that many other home buyers have similar experiences entering the market.
Alongside my property journey, I also built Mochiric, a hospitality business that gave me hands-on experience in building a brand and managing a customer-facing operation. It taught me the importance of systems and consistency to achieving long term financial success.
